Adopt a Darkner

Have you ever wondered how a Lost-And-Found would look as a Deltarune dark world? Well look no further, because this is probably it!

The darkners you're about to see are currently lacking a warm and comfortable place to crash! And who knows? Maybe your site is just the place!

What are adoptables?

In this context, "adoptables" refers to images a webmaster can give you, for free, so that you can put in your website's toybox or wherever else you wish to show your adopted images!

This doesn't mean the adoptable is now an "oc" of yours, however, specially since multiple people can have the same image. You can make an oc based off that adoptable if the webmaster allows it (Which I personally do! As long as you noticeably change it from the original design), but otherwise, see them as a "community pet" you can decide to keep warm and safe in your website. That's what I do!

How to I get an adoptable?

To get an adoptable, you need to:

1. Find places to get some (you are here)
2. Choose the adopts you want. Not all sites allow multiple! And you'll respect it for the love of the game.
3. Download the images you chose.
4. Add them to your toybox, with a link back to the site you got them from, as a way to both credit the creator and allow others to access the adoptables when they wouldn't have found them otherwise.

If you don't know how to turn an image into a link, you can copy and paste this:

Simply replace the PUT IMAGE PATHWAY HERE area with your image's pathway (this would be something like image.png or folder/image.png), you can just copy and paste the image's name if you're using Neocities like me. Do not delete the asterisks when you do this. You can also change the Alt into something more fitting of your image of choice.

Warning! Do NOT hotlink the image straight from the source. Download and upload it into your neocities dashboard or wherever you keep your site's resources!! You can learn about why you shouldn't hotlink HERE.
